The Benefits of Membership

The Australian Macadamia Society is a body of approximately 700 Australian and 30 overseas members representing all facets of the macadamia industry in Australia. Whilst the majority of the members are growers, membership classes also include others from the industry including processors, investors, marketers, consultants, researchers, engineers, teachers and macadamia enthusiasts.

The AMS is regarded as one of Australia’s strongest horticultural industry organisations, a reputation earned over 35 years through sound leadership and planning.

The AMS provides a wide range of information services to members, plays a leading role in determining priorities for research and marketing for the Australian industry, develops and publishes industry protocols and standards and represents members with statutory and government authorities and the media.

The AMS has helped the Australian Macadamia Industry achieve a world-leadership position and in ensuring a sound, viable future for it’s members.

How to join

AMS annual memberships runs from July 1 to June 30 each year.

In applying for membership, you agree to be bound by the Constitution of the Australian Macadamia Society Limited, and the Rules, Regulations or By-laws of the Society from time to time in force.
